Why a call to Malawi fails
The 0 is still in the number
A Malawian number keeps its 0 only for calls inside the country. From abroad, drop it: +265 replaces that first 0.
The exit code is wrong for your country
Most countries dial 00 before a country code. Callers in the United States and Canada dial 011 instead.
